Uloba has a collective agreement with the Union Fagforbundet in Norway. As of April 1, 2024, the basic wage for assistants is 218,01 Norwegian kroner per hour.
The collective agreement ensures a guaranteed minimum wage per hour as a personal assistant, and the Union has the right to negotiate wages beyond this. In addition, the agreement ensures the following:
- The working hours are based on an average calculation, providing flexibility for both you and your supervisor.
- The regular overtime rate is 50%, which is better than the Norwegian Labour legislation requires.
- The agreement with Fagforbundet gives you, as an assistant, the right to short welfare leave, meaning the right to leave with payment for short absences.
Wages
The result of the settlement in 2024:
- Basic wage: NOK 218,01 per hour
- Saturday and Sunday supplement: NOK 65 per hour
- Evening and night supplement: NOK 68 per hour
Seniority supplements are included in the collective agreement with the following rates:
- 4% after 3 years of employment
- 8% after 6 years of employment
- 12% after 9 years of employment
- 16% after 12 years of employment
- 20% after 15 years of employment
Pension
Personal assistants in Uloba are offered a pension scheme in addition to their normal wages. Uloba pays the deposit in addition to the wages, and the supplement applies to all assistants who meet the requirements to be covered by the Norwegian mandatory occupational pension (OTP). Uloba pays the maximum allowable deposit of 5% of wages (8% between 7.1G and 12G). Since 1. January 2019, all personal assistants and function assistants (assistants in the workplace) in Uloba are offered pension benefits from the first krone they earn.

Occupational injury insurance includes:
- Disability compensation

- Compensation for survivors in case of death due to occupational injury
